Take it from Jon Bon Jovi.

“I always wanted to be an Asbury Juke,” he said on Sunday at the induction ceremony for the New Jersey Hall of Fame in Asbury Park.

Bon Jovi, 57, a member of the hall’s class of 2009, helped to induct Southside Johnny, aka John Lyon, one of 24 members of the hall’s 2018 class. In truth, he also made sure the accolades-shy Jersey legend would show up.
